Overview
Regulated agents shall ensure that the goods correspond to the shipper’s description and that they do not contain any prohibited or dangerous articles.
The education and training of security managers is an essential factor in ensuring the efficient implementation of security measures by the regulated agents. The FOCA therefore prescribes the training of the cargo companies’ security managers as a mandatory criterion for obtaining the status of regulated agent.
By completing the refresher course, security managers are taught or refreshed the necessary technical knowledge.
Method
The course is conducted as an e-learning.
Audience
Security managers regulated agents with valid status.
Requirements
Attending the basic course for regulated agents or attending the repeat course in the previous year.
Deadline
The refresher course must be completed by 31 December 2025 in order to retain the status of Regulated Agent of the relevant company.
