Many employees in aviation are in possession of an Airport ID, which provides them access to certain areas. The areas and their corresponding codes might be known to you.

However, there are additional areas that are not printed on the Airport ID. Which ones are these? We will explore this in the following sequence.
Each airport is separated into different areas. To reduce the security risk, the goal is to limit the number of people in critical areas.

Targets

In this video you get to know the different airport areas. You will learn which areas of an airport belong to landside and which to airside and the rules that apply there. You will also learn various definitions relating to airport areas.
