Targets
Basic training is an essential factor to ensure efficient implementation of security measures by the regulated supplier of in-flight supplies. FOCA therefore prescribes the training of security managers as a mandatory criterion for obtaining the status of regulated supplier of in-flight supplies.
Attending the basic course will provide the security managers with the necessary knowledge to implement preventive security measures in accordance with the National Aviation Security Programme and international regulations.

The practical courses are held in a classroom. These courses take place regularly in Brugg.

Background-Check
A background check is required to register for the basic course. To avoid delays in the registration process, it is important that you have the following documents/information ready for course registration:
- – Criminal record extract (not older than 30 days at the time of registration)*.
- – Copy of your passport or identity card
- – Information on employer/activities of the last 5 years (without gaps and to the precise day)
*If you have an official airport identification card, you can upload a copy of the valid airport identification card instead of the criminal record extract.
